How To Make A Small Difference This Earth Day

This Earth Day is all about being more aware of our insane plastic usage and trying to cut back where we can.

One thing that really grates my cheese is the amount of plastic water bottles we all use. I, too, am guilty of it as sometimes it is just far more convenient.

However, buying a cool-looking, reusable water bottle is a one time thing and, even though it may cost you a bit initially, it will totally save you money in the long run.

Derek and I use S’well bottles. I came across them at the yoga studio I teach at and was drawn to them first because they are so so pretty. Next, because they keep your water beautifully cold. This was a huge draw card for me, seeing as I spend so much time in a hot yoga room. The extra bonus is that they keep drinks hot too, so if you’re in need of hot coffee that stays hot to longer than 30 minutes, it is so handy.

So, if this year’s Earth Day inspires you, I encourage you to spend the cash and buy 1 of these bottles. Such a simple step that can make such a huge difference to our planet’s health.
